Allowlist Sprint Picker API

As a result of this Jira Software API limitation, we are currently unable to show all Sprints in the picker in our issue view on Cloud.

Below you will find an explanation on how the lack of this API affects the Sprint selection experience in the issue view between our Products.

Q: Why can’t I see all my Sprints in the Easy Agile Issue View?

Easy Agile User Story Maps

Each Scrum and Kanban Board in Jira will have an associated Story Map (1:1 mapping between an agile board and a Story Map).

Only Sprints on the dedicated Story Mapping board will be visible in the Sprint field in the issue view in Easy Agile User Story Maps.

For example, if I am on the Story Map for Board A, only the Sprints visible on Board A’s backlog will be visible in the Sprint picker for the issue view.

Easy Agile Roadmaps

Each Scrum and Kanban Board in Jira will have an associated Roadmap (1:1 mapping between an agile board and a Roadmap).

Only Sprints on the dedicated Roadmap board will be visible in the Sprint field in the issue view in Easy Agile Roadmaps.

For example, if I am on the Roadmap for Board A, only the Sprints visible on Board A’s backlog will be visible in the Sprint picker for the issue view.

Easy Agile Programs

Only Sprints from the Board/s that an issue was retrieved for will be visible in the Sprint field in the issue view in Easy Agile Programs.

For example, issue ABC-123 appears on the backlog for Board A, B and C and therefore all Sprints from Board’s A, B and C will be visible in the Sprint picker for the issue view.

Easy Agile Personas

Personas are scoped to a Project. Each Project in Jira will have the ability to access and create Personas via their Project Sidebar.

Only Sprints from the Board’s in a given Project will be visible in the Sprint field in the issue view in Easy Agile Personas.

For example, Project Commercial Space Travel includes Board’s A, B and C. Only Sprints from Board A, B and C will be visible in the Sprint picker for the issue view.
